We are currently Hiring for an Admin – Customer Service Clerk.

This is an immediate opening for a transportation customer service representative in a corporate office in Compton, CA. The successful candidate will assist in the activities of the Transportation Customer Service Department. We are looking for a candidate who will offer the best customer satisfaction to people we serve in the industry by ensuring that our noble customer-service goals are realized.
Location: Compton, CA.

Work Schedule 
Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
PAY RATE: $19.00/HR
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
As a transportation customer service representative, the successful candidate will have the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Prioritize, schedule.  (EDI)
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints.
  • Troubleshoot escalated Vendor issues by collaborating with transportation teams/Customer Service and reporting wins back to manger.
  • Oversees the flow of customer correspondences, the tracing of shipments, the validation of purchase orders, and the processing of orders.
  • Communicate Dispatch challenges with Vendors in real-time to maintain a consistent pickup schedule and exceed Customer LOS expectations
  • Formulate clear customer-service objectives that will guide the department’s effort of maximizing customer satisfaction.
  • Possible weekends

Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service (plus)
  •  Great organization, written, oral communication, and computer skills.
  • Capability of multi-tasking
  • AS400/EDI experience is a plus.
  • Trucking Dispatch background is plus.
