Bailer / Janitorial Worker

Salary: $18.00 / hr
Shifts: 2nd– 10:00am-6:00pm
Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable Bailer / Janitorial Worker to join our team. This role involves operating a forklift and baler machine to process recyclable materials while also performing janitorial duties when not operating equipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work efficiently in a warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Baler Duties:
- Use a bailer machine to compact cardboard, plastics, and other recyclables into bales for storage or shipment.
- Sort, inspect, and prepare materials before baling to ensure quality and compliance.
- Load and unload baled materials onto trucks or storage areas.
- Maintain and clean equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Follow all safety regulations and OSHA guidelines for forklift and machinery use.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
Janitorial Duties:
- Sweep, mop, and clean warehouse floors to maintain a tidy work environment.
- Empty trash bins and properly dispose of waste materials.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Restock cleaning supplies and maintain janitorial equipment.
- Ensure all workspaces remain free of hazards and debris.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials (typically 50 lbs or more).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask between duties.
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:
- Warehouse setting with exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures.
- Physical work, including standing, lifting, and operating machinery for extended periods.
- Rotating duties between forklift operation and janitorial tasks as needed
