Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Shipping/Receiving Clerk will assist with all shipping and receiving procedures while providing excellent customer service. In this clerical position, you will be responsible for ensuring that the paperwork for all shipments leaving the distribution center is complete and accurate. You will check drivers in and out throughout day, handle bills of lading (BOL’s), and utilize various systems, and frequently interact with warehouse team and carriers.
 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
 

  • 1 year of customer service experience required
  • Strong computer and mathematical skills required -Frequent interaction with warehouse workers on daily tasks,
  • Strong interpersonal skills required
  • Multi-tasking required, must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential
  • Proficient Excel competence required (Intermediate skills or above)
  • Experience effectively utilizing warehouse management systems, required.
  • Regular, predictable, consistent attendance record is an essential function of the job

The associate will be required to read, communicate verbally and/or in written form, remember and analyze certain information, and remember and understand instructions and guidelines.

The associate must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 35lbs

OT/weekend work, depending on business needs, may be necessary or required at times. 

Other responsibilities and tasks as assigned by Management. 

 

Pay Range $ 17.00-$18.00
