Human Resources Assistant
Responsibilities and /or Essential Functions:
- HR Time Tracking/Time and Attendance:
- HR time tracking for employees and payroll processing, including applicable deductions
- Maintaining accurate timesheet records by performing daily edits, and monitoring missed punches
- Run applicable daily/weekly attendance reports as requested by management team
– Process and submit temporary employee time sheets to applicable agencies weekly
- Administrative Tasks:
- Meet directly with all new temporary employees and take pictures for employee badges
- Maintain accurate records for new hires and existing staff members
- Create and maintain various HR related forms and Excel spreadsheets
- Proactively assist employees, managers and HR team members as necessary
- Process temporary agency invoices weekly
- Place office supply orders as needed
- Sort and deliver paychecks weekly
- Sort and send out all incoming mail daily
- Other job duties as requested by Human Resource Management or General Management
Knowledge / Skills and Experience:
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all levels of employees
- Preferred knowledge of employment practices and related regulations and laws
- Self-Starter with strong follow through skills
- Proven success working in a fast-paced environment and managing to and meeting tight deadlines
- Preferable previous HR experience in Logistics/Warehousing, and experience dealing with different staffing agencies
- Must be bilingual (Spanish), excellent verbal and written skills to be helping with verbal and written translations.
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM with overtime as needed.
