Company in Hayward, CA is in need of an onsite Purchasing Administrative Assistant. Must be proficient in Excel.
Hours: M-F 8:30am-5pm
Payrate: $21-23 base on experience
Duties:
- Data Entry of purchasing information into excel spreadsheets
- Maintaining and entering purchase orders and follow-up with POS.
- Maintaining and compiling purchasing reports.
- Following up with vendor invoices, purchase order timelines, and delays with vendors.
- Request raw materials samples, packaging samples, and pricing from various vendors.
Requirements:
- Proficient in data entry.
- Familiar with the process of creating and managing purchase orders and database.
- Manage email correspondence effectively and professionally
- Handle both inbound and outbound calls
- Skilled in Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
- Scheduling appointments and organizing calendars efficiently
- Ability to perform administrative tasks with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in an administrative role (1 Year or up)
