Empire Workforce Solutions is seeking for a full-time Sanitation Technician- for an indoor aeroponic cannabis production facility in Riverbank, CA. The Chosen candidate will possess a passion for sanitation, excellent interpersonal skills, experience leading others, cannabis knowledge preferred, with a willingness to continually learn more about the subject.
The Sanitation Technician maintains safety, cleanliness and functionality of all structures, equipment and outdoor spaces of the organization. The entry-level position offers the opportunity to learn and grow with the Company from the ground up, and to take on increasing levels of responsibility over time. This role will report directly to the IPEM Lead/supervisor and work on-site at our facility in Riverbank, Ca.
Job Responsibilities
- Clean indoor spaces such as restrooms, breakrooms, hallways and conference areas (mop, sweep, vacuum, dust, scrub toilets/sinks/showers, and remove trash).
- Clean and landscape outdoor spaces (sweeping, trash removal).
- Complete all required logs and documentation.
- Secure designated areas, equipment and supplies.
- Maintain a clean, safe and tour ready facility.
- Wiping down racks, guard rails, and walls as necessary.
- Maintain continuous inventory of supplies and report needs to manager or lead.
- Restock supplies in common spaces as needed.
- Comply with all health and safety standards including those of the Organization, Public Health Department and other governing entities.
- Report unusual occurrences or damage.
- Other duties as assigned.
Shift :part time position; 5 hour days for 3 or 4 days out of the week
Pay: $18 – $18 an Hour
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Ability to work productively independently within a team environment.
- Math required for inventory, projections, and measurements.
- Exhibit the ability to work well within the organization and with others.
- Complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner required.
- Follow established Company policies required.
- Close visual focus required.
- This position occasionally requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects.
- Valid Driver’s License and be a minimum of 21 years of age.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach, bend, climb, stretch and lift 50 pounds. Requires the manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment and hand tools.
Work Environment:
This position involves a fair amount of manual labor which requires repetitive tasks. This position operates indoors which can reach different temperatures. This position may require working at heights up to or exceeding 10 feet. The Cultivation Department operates on weekends and holidays, and standard work hours may apply regardless of day or season.
