We are seeking experienced Stand-Up Forklift Operators to support warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role involves operating a reach truck to move, store, and prepare products for shipment while maintaining accuracy and safety standards.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Schedules available:
6am-2:30pm & 3:00pm-11:30pm - Pay rate: $20 – $21 Per Hour
Essential Duties
- Operate stand-up reach forklift to move and store pallets in rack locations
- Pick palletized units from elevated rack positions for outbound shipments
- Load and unload delivery trucks safely and efficiently
- Sort, stage, and organize pallets within the warehouse
- Hand stack products from partial pallets onto full pallets as needed
- Verify case counts and product accuracy against inbound documentation
- Complete inbound paperwork and properly tag pallets
- Use RF scanner for inventory tracking and order picking
- Perform daily forklift inspections and complete checklists
- Work closely with receivers and delivery drivers to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Experience operating a stand-up forklift (reach truck) required
- Prior RF scanner experience required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic math skills (counting, verifying case quantities)
- Must be able to communicate in English with supervisors and drivers
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
- Forklift certification is a plus (can be evaluated on-site)
- Must be flexible for mandatory overtime during peak periods
