We are looking for a (stand up) Forklift driver for a logistics company. We are a refrigerated warehouse therefore candidates should expect to work in a cold environment (0*F to 32*F).
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Schedules available: 3:00pm-11:30pm
- Pay rate: $19.50 – $19.50
Essential Duties:
– Sort and place materials or pallets on racks.
– Move pallets throughout the warehouse, Hand stack product from partial pallets onto full pallets of product.
– Pick palletized units out of rack locations above floor height and set up for outbound shipment.
– Offloading delivery trucks
– Filling out inbound paperwork
– Verifying case counts & items on pallets
– Tagging pallets
– Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet
– Working with fellow receivers & truck delivery drivers
– Prior experience using to use RF scanning equipment required
Candidates should expect mandatory overtime on certain busy days.
Requirements:
– Steel Toed Boots are a must
– Drug test and Background check required.
– Forklift Certified is Plus but not required.
– Attention to detail
– Ability to accurately count cases (basic math skills required)
– Bilingual candidates (Spanish) are a plus however NOT a requirement.
– Candidates however MUST be able to communicate with delivery drivers in English.
