Canning Personnel are responsible for preparing and filling the containers that will be used to store batches of paint.

Canning Personnel Level I
- Learn to read batch instructions from Q.C. tickets
- Prepare the containers to be used depending on the size of the batch
- Strain batches when necessary
- Fill containers to the correct level
- Label containers in the correct manner
- Work with the appropriate machinery (mixers and hoists)
- Operate a forklift
- Ensure that bonding and grounding rules are followed
- Keep the workspace clean and tidy
- Other duties deemed appropriate by the Canning Supervisor
The Hours are Monday to Friday 6am-2:30pm
Pay Rate: $23.00
This job does require basic math/reading skills. The ability to lift 15/20 pounds.
It is a temp to hire position after completing the required hours with Empire Workforce.
